This is a nice and exciting trip from Sogndal to Fimreite and back to Sogndal. During the Viking Age, this was the scenery for the dramatic battle between Magnus Erlingsson and Sverre Sigurdsson, where they fought over the right to be the King of Norway. 5000 soldiers took part in the battle, and 2160 men lost their lives. In more recent history, the largest submarine-hunt in norwegian history took place here during the cold war. Explore both the fascinating history of the Fjord and its amazing nature on this trip!

Together with the local farm Haug Gard, we have made a tour where you can combine tasting of different ciders and fruit wines from Odelsgut (Haug Gard), and a beautiful Fjord Cruise from Sogndal to Fimreite and back. You can also choose one way bike ride on an electric bike along the Sognefjord.
